We are happy to announce that, thanks to the fundraising campaign “Let’s make Séraphine’s dream come true” after months of hard work, the construction of a drinking water well in Pagou, Burkina Faso, was recently completed.
This project has had a significant impact on the local community, providing an important resource to improve the quality of life for many people.
Sinergest is proud to have supported and contributed to this important project, born from the determination of Nicholas Zare, a well-known personal trainer at the Genesi gym in Lucca.
Together, we have realized the dream of his mother, Séraphine, who wanted to build a new well to ensure drinking water for the people of her village, who would otherwise have to walk long distances to reach the nearest source of drinking water.
But we don’t stop here, Séraphine’s dream continues!
We have only taken the first step in a more ambitious project, which will engage us in active support for the communities in this area over the coming months.
We are therefore thrilled to announce that, thanks to our collaboration with Nicholas Zare, we have been able to purchase a used ambulance from the Misericordia di Borgo a Mozzano, which will be sent to Pagou.
This vehicle will be a vital resource for improving healthcare in the region.
The ambulance will allow for faster and safer transportation of patients to hospitals, significantly improving the quality and timeliness of medical care.
Furthermore, we intend to send food and hospital supplies to the people of Pagou, to try to transform suffering into hope for those who need it most.
Our goal is to ensure that a full container, containing all the necessary food and equipment, departs with the ambulance in July 2024.
Nicholas Zare, project manager, emphasized the importance of continuing aid: “Thanks to the new well, life in Pagou has improved significantly. Now, by sending essential supplies and an ambulance, we want to continue bringing hope and support to this community.”
