Integrated QHSE Process Management: Acqua Novara Chooses Sinergest

Thanks to the experience and specific expertise of our Project Managers, who have worked with companies in the water sector, Acqua Novara has chosen Sinergest Suite software solutions to centrally and integratedly computerize and reengineer its QHSE processes, consistently meeting the management needs of its key organizational activities to maximize business development performance. This far-reaching reorganization and digitalization process will involve a three-year program of interventions.

Acqua Novara.VCO, a fully public company with 271 employees working in 14 locations, manages the integrated water service in 140 municipalities in the provinces of Novara and Verbano-Cusio-Ossola.

A vast territory rich in unique characteristics, stretching from north to south for over 100 kilometers, with a population of 450,000, it uses over 3.7 billion cubic meters (3,700 billion liters) annually. Of this, 1% is used for domestic consumption (managed by Acqua Novara.VCO), 50% is used in agriculture, and 49% is used for industrial purposes and energy production.

In this corner of Piedmont, since July 2007, one of the most precious and fundamental resources for human life has been managed by Acqua Novara, created to best meet the water needs of a vast and varied territory.

Acqua Novara turned to Sinergest for the search for a software platform that would allow for the centralized and integrated computerization of QHSE processes, in line with the following management needs:

Thanks to the extreme flexibility of the Sinergest Suite platform and the consultative approach of our Project Managers, Sinergest will help Acqua Novara achieve process evolution commensurate with the company’s actual needs, in an approach that makes “tailor-made” the key to successful projects.

The implementation of the Sinergest Suite platform will facilitate the operation of processes for all types of users, thanks to differentiated interfaces and a user experience designed to meet actual business needs.

The Results: A Path to Organizational Process Improvement

Thanks to the Audit Management App for recording field audits, compatible with both iOS and Android, Acqua Novara can manage its audits on the go using a tablet. The Audit App (in the field) provides key audit data and, once the checklist has been recorded, allows for automatic integration of the recorded data into the audit report, eliminating tedious paperwork and saving significant time.

Furthermore, thanks to simplified Lite Views, Acqua Novara will have the opportunity to create specific users and allow them dedicated interaction in the software, facilitating the management of records and data consultation (process inputs, activities, documents, tasks, etc.).

The application thus facilitates the adoption of a single tool capable of standardizing quality, environmental, and safety management processes. A single, integrated, updated, and organized data flow for a path toward organizational improvement of business processes.
