Procurement Management Software: Ritmo Chooses Sinergest
Founded in 1982, for over 40 years Ritmo S.r.l. has been synonymous with excellence in corporate catering, banqueting and catering, senior dining, self-service restaurants, bars, and non-commercial restaurants. In addition to its centralized kitchen in Vignola, in the province of Modena, where more than 1,500,000 dishes are currently prepared, cooked, and delivered each year, Ritmo manages several corporate restaurants for medium-sized and large companies in the Modena area, as well as several self-service restaurants and bars open to the public and located throughout the Emilia-Romagna region.

Ritmo S.r.l. turned to Sinergest for a software solution that would allow the company to manage, in a computerized, centralized, and integrated manner, the aspects currently considered most important for operational continuity in terms of quality and safety.
The solution: Procurement Management and Control Software with Checklists
The project priorities identified, for which the Sinergest Suite software had to provide the relevant solutions, were mainly four::
- Management of all procurement procedures and verification and monitoring of the technical and professional qualifications of contractors (and any subcontractors) with regard to human resources, machinery, and equipment used;
- Control of company deadlines by creating, recording, and scheduling activities related to various system requirements (Environment, Safety, Quality), administrative requirements, or those related to events attributable to entities, infrastructure, departments, company areas, customers, and suppliers;
- Control and distribution of documents (e.g., HACCP manual);
- Facilitate, simplify, and streamline verification/inspection activities through pre-configurable checklists.
Results
Ritmo S.r.l. has chosen Procurement Management Software to manage documentation, deadlines, and authorizations, a centralized tool equipped with automated alerts and notifications. By making the software available to suppliers, Ritmo will also achieve significant time savings in requesting and updating procedures.
The Inspection Software with checklists will allow Ritmo to prepare checklists and make them available to staff via a smartphone app (compatible with iOS and Android) for monitoring, inspection, and verification activities in various areas, such as plant, machinery, and equipment inspections, area and department inspections, personnel inspections, proper execution of activities, and much more.
Ritmo will thus have a complete overview of the situation, thanks to an easy-to-use software tool that can also adapt to future business developments, further confirming the quality and food safety the company strives to guarantee to all its customers.
