TÜV Italia, an independent certification, inspection, testing, and training body, offers certification services in the fields of quality, environment, energy, safety, and product.
Present in Italy since 1987 and part of the TÜV SÜD group, TÜV Italia has grown over the years, and the internationalization of its business has contributed to a strong growth in its foreign operations and the development of over 1,000 offices worldwide, present in more than 60 countries with a total of over 25,000 employees. More than thirty years after its presence in our country, TÜV Italia today has a structure made up of over 700 employees and 400 collaborators, with several operational offices throughout the country.
An innovative solution for managing audits in an agile and streamlined way
Unorganized tools, rigid process control, and the enormous amount of data to manage, even while on the move, pushed TÜV Italia to seek an innovative solution to manage specific types of audit processes more agilely and streamlinedly, while ensuring high performance levels. TÜV Italia chose to introduce an advanced software tool, the Sinergest Suite.
Sinergest, in collaboration with the TÜV project team, analyzed existing processes and tools (AS IS) and then proceeded to define new workflows that would involve the use of the Sinergest platform (TO BE). The final output of these activities was the definition of the “Project Requirements” in terms of workflows, user interfaces, integrations, customizations, and registrations.
A shared desire to partner together to achieve the objectives of this first project and to subsequently extend the use of the system to other types of audits and for other “European countries” of the group, thanks also to the “corporate” and “multilingual” features of the application.
